Steve came to Hypercat just a few months before his very first Ironman. We worked hard to get him as prepared as possible to successfully complete his 140.6 event. Not only did Steve do it, but he did so under incredibly tough conditions. That year Ironman China had one of the highest DNF rates of any IM to date. Later in Steve tackled his 2nd Ironman and we chopped over 2.5 hours off his finishing time. Weeks later Steve ran a personal best marathon clocking 3:06 and qualified for the Boston Marathon. The following year(s) and beyond have been a continual trajectory of improvements, race wins and personal bests!
